Next Step extended the JCM brand by creating ArtCAN. ArtCAN  is an art event that features works of art from acclaimed Southeastern artists who are cancer survivors or who have had their lives affected by cancer. ArtCAN assembled a preeminent curatorial panel  consisting of Fay Gold, Marianne Lambert, Jerry Cullum, and Andrea Barnwell-Brownlee to select an exclusive number of artists to feature their work at this year's event.
